Happy belated Easter everyone! I hope everyone is full of chocolate!! I know I am! Yikes! ha ha!
Easter has to be one of my favorite holiday. It’s not overly commercialized, I get to spend a lot of time with family and it still represents a very special Christian event.
Saturday is when my family got together to celebrate Easter with some time together and a special meal. Easter meal is also one of my favorites. We forego the traditional turkey and we have ham, scalloped potatoes, baked beans, meatballs and coleslaw! Yum!
Loved spending time with my niece and nephew too! They were in great spirits and so excited for Easter!
After lunch my parents hid eggs around their home so that the kiddos could have an Easter egg hunt! Even though Clark is still a little young he caught on quick! He was too distracted by eating the chocolate to go and look for more!
Faith and her loot!
Our whole family is very musical so it was only a matter of time that we all ended up in the music room around the piano.
With full bellies we also laid around!
A new baby will be coming in July and we had to do a comparison belly like we have done with Faith and Clark! So excited for Baby Hamilton #3!
I just love this picture of my handsome hubby! I’m one heck of a lucky girl to have a sexy husband like him! :)
Sunday morning Ryan and I woke up to see that the Easter bunny had visited our home the night before! I got my beautiful Easter lily but I have a feeling Easter bunny will be back with something special from Myrtle Beach! ;)
We headed to church and enjoyed the Easter Sunday service which included a special song by all the Sunday School children! The church was so full of little ones that the whole place felt very alive and exciting! Love it when it’s a full crowd!
Thankfully, at the farm we take both Good Friday and Easter Monday off! It was so nice to sleep in a bit and relax! That afternoon I headed to see a movie with good friend Jill! We saw The Host! It was a good movie and good representation of the Stephanie Meyer book! I don’t know why but I feel as though this “Alien take over the world” story is far more believable then the Vampire love story!
How was your Easter?
xo
OMG I totally thought you were making an announcement and was like, yes! I won. Hahaha
ReplyDeleteHA! Love that Ryan & Holly do their "belly shots" with each new Hamilton baby on the way... With Ryan doing his Body Beast work-outs, he might not be able to do this next time!! ;)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a nice easter... I am definitely full of chocolate, too :)
