Dare #10

This morning I am in shock! Even though I knew all along that December was fast approaching it has finally sunk in now. Tomorrow is the 1st of December!!!!! This morning I let Tucker outside to do his "business" and I was amazed by the snow that was on my grass.

So here is your dare this week:

Dare #10

At some point this week (if you are the primary family cooker) take a night off!! Make your spouse do a night of cooking or order pizza or other takeout food. Everyone deserves a break every now and again. I think with my night off I will start doing some Christmas wrapping!

Last week's dare was an easy one for me. Last week was full of Christmas activities. First it was the Gemma Christmas party, Friday was the Mountainview Christmas party, Saturday Ryan and I went Christmas shopping and then went to go watch A Christmas Carol in theatres. Sunday morning I blasted the Christmas tunes on Galaxy and decorated the whole house. It was a blast!

Waking up after a busy Friday night was not an easy task but it made for a successful Saturday. First Ryan and I headed to Walmart to finish up small gifts and stocking stuffer's. We got there early so by the time we were ready to check out we missed the big crowds. Then made two more small stops before heading to the movie theatre. I have wanted to go see A Christmas Carol for a long time. I have never been to a 3D movie before and was so excited to experience it! In my head I had thought because Jim Carey was in the movie that it was going to be a humorous movie but it was the complete opposite. Although the effects were really neat I was a little disappointed because I was looking forward to a humorous Christmas movie. Either way it was a very well made movie and it made me feel very "Christmasy" afterwards!

  1. I can do that dare Linds - although I am almost positive that my "spouse" will not cook me supper - that would only result in KD and microwaved hot dogs...haha but he can order a pizza - especially with all of my potlucks and activities that will be starting this Saturday with our girls potluck and gift exchange, sounds like a good time to give me a break!
