Happy Wednesday everyone! Half way through the week again! Weekend is quickly approaching.
Today on Wedding Wednesday I’d like to continue with the flower talk. Last week, we covered mine, my bridesmaids and flower girls bouquets.
The boys (groom, groomsmen, fathers and grandfathers) have to adorn some special flowers as well. They are a big aspect of the wedding and deserve to stand out with some special boutonniere’s!
I’d like to stay with the yellow, Gerber daisy style but nothing overly large or feminine! I’m LOVING this sample and my florist said it would be easy to reproduce!
I think all the men will look so handsome with their colorful boutonniere's!
Mother’s and Grandmothers also need to have some beautiful flowers to make them stand out! My AWESOME photographer, Julie, made the very wise suggestion of getting them all to be wrist corsages!
The reasoning is some dress materials wouldn’t be able to support the weight of a pinned on flower corsage. You don’t want the flowers droopy, it makes so much sense!
Of course I’d like to incorporate the same flowers as the other flower arrangements. Not to mention the same yellow color as everything else. Luckily, yellow is a color that can easily go with many outfits colors!
There, now everyone who needs flowers is looked after! I have to say it was a very easy decision to make. Last flower decisions to make, church and centerpieces!
