Superbowl Weekend

What a weekend!!! It was such a crazy weekend that I spent the day yesterday, not at work.

It was a weekend full of activity so before I knew it, it was over.

On Saturday it was a very special girls 4th birthday party! Maddy's mom Stacy and I are first cousins. So, I grew up with Stacy and now I have the pleasure of watching her daughter grow up as well.

The birthday was a cupcake theme and the birthday girl even had a special cupcake headband!
There was a cupcake decorating centre, yummy food, a plasma car to try out and balloon animal making.
My "dog" with a really long tail
Lots of kids, young and old.
And my personal favorite, watching the birthday girl open all her birthday presents!! Too cute!
It was a super fun get together and it was so nice to visit with everyone!

On Sunday it was the Superbowl. A while back, when I started my 101 list, one of my items was to host a Superbowl party. (#86) It was important for me to do this because in order to host a Superbowl party, I'd have to finish the basement renovation.

Finally, two years after starting the basement renovation is was finished and I could finally have the party.

All ready for the party, Go Packers!!

I spend all of Sunday morning getting food ready, I even made my first batch of cookies with royal icing! They turned out better then I expected!
A small group of friends joined us for supper and football!
Our youngest little Superbowl guest, Charlotte!
It was fun having everyone over, laughing, and visiting. Congrats to Priscilla who won the betting game!!
Now, I can officially cross #86 off of my 101 list, host a Superbowl party!!
