A Nice LONG weekend!

Happy Tuesday everyone!! I would have had a lovely weekend post for all to see yesterday but I wasn't home! I was still vacationing in Kingston, Ontario.

Today is the 14th of December!! Isn't that UBER crazy? Officially 10 days till Christmas Eve. This makes me sad, panicked but still very excited!

I had a 3 day weekend and it was awesome! It is so nice to have that extra day. I woke up on Monday morning at 6 AM (my usual time to get up for work) and thought, "nope, go back to bed Lindsay, you don't have to go to work."

The weekend started out with supper with my parents. Mom and Dad had invited us over for supper, tree decorating and euchre.

Supper was so good. We had bacon bunnies and Caesar salad! Yum! We listened to a little Wayne Rodstad while decorating the tree and sipped on some bloody Caesar's.

Then it was time for business. We always play boys against girls and we get a little over competitive. It is always in good fun. The boys were kicking our butts on the score board early on in the first game.

Then dad got this lay down loaner hand, for the win.

The girls were not happy so we challenged them to a second game. Their luck hadn't run out and they beat us again!

Dad gave me this tree to wear as my "losers" cap.

Saturday morning I woke up and got ready to head to the city with Jilly Bean! It has become our tradition that every time one of the Twilight series movies comes out on DVD we go to the store to each get our copy. We then head back to one of our houses to watch the movie and have some snacks!

Ryan even joined us this time although he did spend most of the time making fun of the movie! His commentary was hilarious!

Saturday I worked a quiet shift at the bar, it's always super dead at work right before Christmas.

Sunday morning I woke up, packed my bags and hit the road. We were heading to Kingston for a little get away with friends Evan and Josee.

We met at the hotel and headed for lunch and some shopping before we checked into our hotel.

Finally, we were in our rooms and we cleaned up and got ready for the big show we were attending; The Cirque De Soliel, Quidam.

We have had our tickets since July and couldn't wait for the show!!

Even the boys were excited!

The show was amazing!!! I would have had some awesome pictures since Ryan and I had floor seating but any flash photography was not permitted.

After the show we went for supper at Boston Pizza and then headed back to our rooms for some much needed sleep!

Monday was just a quiet day of driving and much needed relaxing! It was such a great weekend but after so much activity I sure do get sleepy. It is so worth it though!

How was your weekend?
