You've Got Mail!

I LOVE getting mail!! Ever since I was a kid and never got mail, I would always open my parents mail because I just loved it SO much!!

This time of year is my favorite because I get Christmas cards in the mail!! Almost every day for the last week I have had stuff in my mail box, just for me. Ok, that's a lie. Ryan's name is on the envelopes too but I get too excited and have to open it right away!

Recently, I got two very special things in the mail.

Do you know Nicole? If not, go check her out. If you want to read an great blog written by an amazing woman then that is her. Over the last year or so Nicole and I have gotten to know each other. There is probably not a weekday that goes by where we don't have at least one e-mail from each other. She has been a great keyboard pal and trust me, when you get to know her, you'll discover how kind hearted she is and a wonderful friend.

Recently, I posted about a craft night I did with some ladies. We were making necklaces and Nicole like them and wanted to know (in a joking manner) where her's was. Without hesitation, I knew I wanted to send her one! After talking for so long I wanted to send her something for Christmas.

We exchanged addresses and then the next thing I knew I had mail!

Nicole had sent me a beautiful scarf and pampered chef recipe book.

How did you know I loved pampered chef Nicole?

I love both things and the scarf was perfect on the weekend for my trek to the city!

Thank you Nicole for my first Christmas present!

A few months back I signed up for a homemade gift exchange though Craftaholics Anonymous. After signing up she pairs you with someone internationally. I was excited about who I would have as a partner and was delighted when down the road I got an e-mail saying that Trisha from Oklahoma would be my partner.

After a couple of e-mails back and forth to discover what some of our likes and dislikes were I finally mailed out her gift. A couple of weeks later I had more mail! Woo Hoo!

Trisha sewed and sent me this very handy bag that. Already I have used it for my Thursday night Zumba class. I carry my work out shoes in there as well as my water bottle! Thank you Trisha!

You'll have to check out Trisha's blog, down the road, to see what I sent her!

Have you been involved in any Christmas exchanges yet this year?

Hope you all are having a wonderful week!
